McClellan Operational Procedures

·         Noise Sensitive Areas surround McClellan Airfield

·         Traffic Pattern altitude is 600 feet MSL for Rotorcraft, 1,100 feet MSL for Light General Aviation Fixed Wing Aircraft; 1,400 feet MSL for all other Fixed Wing Aircraft.

·         All Fixed Wing Aircraft use West traffic pattern

·         Fixed wing aircraft should remain on runway heading long enough to avoid potential conflicts with rotorcraft operating in either rotorcraft pattern

·         The East Rotorcraft autorotation practice area’s landing zone is actually on Taxiway Alpha between Taxiways Golf and Hotel

·         The West Rotorcraft autorotation practice area’s landing zone is actually on closed Taxiway India south of Taxiway Juliet
