Web-Accessible Aircraft Flight Tracking System
The Sacramento County Airport System (SCAS) Web-Accessible Aircraft Flight Tracking System enables the public to see the general location of flights and air traffic flow in the greater Sacramento region. This flight monitoring system includes specific information about flights from Sacramento International, Mather, Executive and McClellan airports as well as information about other air traffic operating in the Sacramento region. Information provided includes flight identification, aircraft type, and altitude in Mean Sea Level (MSL).
Flight and aircraft radar data originate from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Data viewed in WebTrak is delayed by 140 minutes for aviation security and to ensure data accuracy. Flight track data viewed in WebTrak is available for up to 90 days in the past.

Computer Requirements
The Web-Accessible Flight Tracking System is best viewed using a high-speed broadband Internet connection. A dial-up connection may also be used but data loading will be much slower, resulting in longer waiting periods.
WebTrak requires Flash version 9 or later. If you have an earlier version of the plugin, WebTrak will attempt to automatically upgrade your plugin to the latest version.
The system requirements for the Flash plugin may be viewed on the Adobe Flash product information page.
Flight Information
Aircraft icons are not to scale and will change in size at different zoom levels. Flight and aircraft radar data originate from the FAA’s ARTS radar system at the Northern California TRACON. Radar data from the ARTS system is downloaded and processed by SCAS’s Airport Noise and Operations Monitoring System (ANOMS).
Airline and aircraft type information is encoded in 3 or 4 characters. For a list of airline abbreviations, click here. For a list of aircraft type abbreviations, click here.
Reliability of Radar Information
The intended use of this website is to display the general location and flow of air traffic in the Sacramento region. The Web-Accessible Flight Tracking System information is not intended for navigational purposes or airline schedule information. While ANOMS processes radar data with a very high level of accuracy, in a small number of cases, flight plan data may be incorrectly correlated.
