Pilot Information Line
The SCAS believes that pilots understand the need to be good neighbors and will fly as quietly as practical when safety and efficiency permits. SCAS also believes that pilots must know an airport's noise abatement procedures in order to follow them. To ensure the pilots using Mather Airport are fully informed about Mather's noise abatement procedures, the SCAS has a pilot information line that describes the current noise abatement procedures. Prior to departing on a flight to Mather, pilots should call (916) 874-0359 to receive the current noise abatement procedures.
