Currently, T- hangers and other covered parking is not available at Mather for light GA aircraft.Where can I park my car? How much is it to park?
Vehicle parking is located directly across from the terminal building. Additional parking is available just east of the terminal at 10510 Superfortress Avenue. Parking at Mather Airport is free.Can I rent a car at the Airport?
Hertz Rent-a-Car has an office located in the terminal building. We strongly advise you to make a reservation in advance. The airport is located at 10510 Superfortress Avenue in Mather, 12 miles east of downtown Sacramento.Take the "Mather Field" exit off the Highway 50.
Travel south on Mather Field, remaining in the right lane.
Mather Field becomes Von Karman and dead ends at Superfortress directly in front of the airport terminal.
Depending on traffic conditions, it can take from 20 to 45 minutes to reach downtown Sacramento by car. Mather Airport does not have restaurants in or near the terminal. However, several restaurants are within three miles of the Airport.
