Information Booths and Boards
Volunteer-staffed information booths operate in the lobbies of Terminals A and B1 at Sacramento International. Trained volunteers are on-hand each day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. to answer questions and distribute information about the airport and local tourist attractions.
Informational literature available at the booths includes the Sacramento Convention and Visitors Bureau “Visitors Guide,” brochures for various attractions throughout the region, and a variety of airport publications. Volunteers will answer questions about International’s facilities and services, provide directions to visitors from out of town, and contact the Sheriff’s Department in the event of an emergency.
The Terminal A booth is located in the central lobby area adjacent to the elevators and the booth in Terminal B1 is located across from the ticket counters near the baggage carousels.
Information boards are located in each terminal and feature phones to obtain information about local attractions, accommodation, and transportation. Information phones in Terminal B2 will connect callers with questions to the Terminal A booth.
Additional volunteers are always needed. Anyone interested in becoming an information booth volunteer should call Karen Doron at (916) 874-0662 or e-mail us.
