About Sacramento International Airport

Media Parking at Sacramento International Airport

Parking at the curb directly in front of Sacramento International's two terminal buildings is restricted by Federal Aviation Administration requirements and Sacramento County Code to passenger loading and unloading only. Due to security constraints, no vehicles are allowed to be unattended . Traffic enforcement officers are authorized to ticket and/or tow vehicles left unoccupied.

Typically, by calling ahead, media representatives are able to position one "broadcast vehicle" at a center island Special Events curb for live coverage if one member of the media team stays with the vehicle at all times. There are Special Event curbs in front of both Terminal A and B-2; look for the cranberry red, triangular signs with blue trim. These areas are available to all users on a call-ahead and first-come, first-served basis only.

Media representatives should always plan to park media support vehicles and automobiles in the Hourly parking lots close to each terminal.
