Project Schedule
The Sacramento County Airport System (SCAS) and participant airlines intend to fully implement the ILEAV program by September 2005. In the interim, SCAS intends to complete deployment of the CNG shuttles, electric belt loaders, electric bag tugs, and NEVs listed in the ILEAV plan. Most electric super chargers are installed at Terminal A (SWA) and six remaining electric chargers will be installed at Terminal A (AWA) and Terminal B (UAL). To date, about two-thirds of ILEAV projects for SWA and UAL have been completed and the airport has already deployed fourteen CNG buses. Deployment of the remaining six CNG busses is by Spring 2005 and construction improvements to the CNG station are expected to begin Fall 2004 for Spring 2005 completion.
